Hi. I’m a professional classical/fingerstyle guitarist with decades of experience playing for all kinds of events – weddings, corporate functions, dinner parties, holiday banquets, etc. I've recently started a new endeavor, singing and playing songs, specializing in rock/folk music of the 1960's and 1970's. I would love to come play for you sometime! I'm a retired teacher and taught guitar at Bellaire High School for over 25 years! I live in Spring, Texas with my wife Kellie and our critters - Merlin the 17 year old cat and pups Cosmo and Luna.

Here's a bunch of stuff I’ve done in my career. I don't really expect anyone to read all this. Long story short, I've made a lot of music!

  • 1995 Completed a Master of Music – Guitar Performance degree at UT Austin.

  • 1992 Completed a Bachelor of Music – Guitar Performance degree at Texas State University (SWTSU).

  • I co-directed the award winning guitar program at Bellaire High School from 1998-2025.  Student groups won 1st place at a statewide contest three years in a row (Hill Country Classical Guitar Ensemble Festival and Contest 2023, 2024, 2025). Students won countless UIL medals at regional and state contests, as well as four “Outstanding Soloist” awards.

  • Played in most of the fine hotels and country clubs in the Houston area.

  • Played at the Wortham Center, Jones Hall, Minute Maid Park, Astrodome, 1859 Ashton Villa, Miller Outdoor Theater, Rice University, University of Houston, etc.

  • Performed for former President George H. W. Bush and his wife Barbara at the Museum of Fine Arts.

  • Recorded a CD of lullabies with Juilliard trained soprano Hanan Alattar (aka Hana Bird) in 2011.
